This Whole World is Just a Dream, Do You Believe That - 17th Karmapa

This whole world is just a dream, do you believe that? People may believe it when they get old or while the moment they have to face to death.

Have to tell you that this world just a dream, have to tell you that this world is unreal, have to tell you your life are impermanent, have to tell you that your family are destined by Karma. 

When you dedicate yourself into your family for decades without any complaint or regrets, when you take care of your children without any complaints , or when you suffering insomnia just caused your no filial children,

I have to tell you that this world is all false and fake, don't too cling to it. But you don't believe it, your cognition yet not reach the level to believe or liberate your affliction. Therefore, I won't talk more, and won't try to persuade you more but only watching you struggling and drifting in the suffering ocean from the shore. Probably, you may regard me as a merciless person, actually I am sympathetic to all your painful and sufferings but helpless, the only thing left me to do is to looking at you silently.

I considered that most of people lack a blessing chance to listen the Buddhist Dharma as well as their wisdom hardly to perceive the emptiness, you are just performing their entire life in this unreal world with all kinds of emotions, the birth or death, love or hatred, what else should I say. Everyone has her attachment, her acknowledgement, her dreams and goals, her conception for her world and happiness. But have to tell her, this world is just a dream. Your children whom you are so addicted to are just your karma. Your family which you clinging to it for your lifetime, it just a courier station to you, all the loving relationship or fame and wealthy which you are pursuing are the illusions of your self-conscious.  You are everywhere in this world while the whole world is empty. When you wake up from your dreams, you still have to face the brutal fact of the reincarnation of six realms, few of them can make the commitment and believe it but would rather keep on drifting in their dreams. If one day you know you are about to death, what your feelings when you look back. May be only by that moment you would have faith in Buddha's teaching:" All conditioned occurrences. Are like a dream, a bubble, a shadow. Life is just like the morning dew, or like lightning. You should do as see." Life like as a film, contains ups and downs, enjoying the peace and sunny but sometime along with violent storm...all these forced us arise of love, hatred, happy and angry, arising with conditions and ceasing also with conditions.

Finally we find out that we are no more than an actor in our whole life, performing followed the drama and hasn't ever be yourself even for a single moment. Until that moment you will realize what your self- nature is, what matters will you still crave to? Why should your children to be the best in their class, why should you to be the best in your career, why should you live better than others, why should you have more abundant food than others, why should you traveling so  extravagant, why should you an eye to an eye ( tit of tat ) when someone else harmed you... finally you would known that these things are not the first  primacy, if you cling to them all your lifetime then you will be tormented all the time.

All you life goals are just like these stuff, you can't take a single piece with you when you face to death but you were suffered by them all your life. You can't take them with you even you loving ones. The only thing to do is just let it be or to deal with accord with conditions. 

"One should thus develop a pure and clean mind which should not abide in form, sound, smell, taste, touch and Dharma, they should develop a mind which does not abide in anything."  Today whoever your loved or hated, just accept them when they come, and leave them when they go. Don't cling to, don't worry it, calm down your mind, you will see that you were still were you, you didn't pulled away by them, you are truly yourself.

Thus, you will enjoy a life with no regret and no guilt.

Even till your last moment, the death seems like a phenomenon, you will leave accord with conditions and leave at ease. But, can you really understand that? Can you really let it go? Or it may be too late at the moment you realized.
